Chief scientist of the national broiler industry technical system, vice chairman of poultry branch of China Institute of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, editor-in-chief of the “Chinese Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences”. He won the prize of Chinese Award for Outstanding Agricultural Talents, national agricultural advanced worker. Received 2 second prizes for the National Technological Invention Award (ranked first), cultivated 5 new broiler breeds (matching line) and obtained the National New Species Certificate; he formulated the "Chicken Feeding Standard" (NY/T33-2004) and "Chicken Meat Quality Classification"(GB/T19676-2005) and other national and industry standards; he has published 65 theses as the first author/corresponding author, and edited 2 books such as “Healthy Farming of Livestock and Poultry”.
